The ETA application uses GPS data transmitted by Wialon to manage vehicle scheduling. The solution uses certain parameters such as units, scheduling date, and time in order to define a vehicle’s location relative to the geofence. This data enables ETA to estimate time of arrival at a destination point and calculate a vehicle’s progress on the route reflected as a percentage of the programmed distance.
