Message Merger by Asset Track adds data from external systems to the corresponding vehicle in Wialon.
Readings from a cold-chain probe or a weighbridge, ERP job events, and driver app data can be added alongside messages from the vehicle’s own tracker. Message Merger by Asset Track receives webhooks from these sources, maps their fields to Wialon message parameters, and imports messages containing these values into Wialon, linking them to the corresponding vehicle.
The data arrives through Wialon’s native message import. A Wialon sensor configured to use the corresponding parameter processes the imported value, making it available in reports, notifications, and the interface.
Key capabilities:
- Webhook per source: Each system sends data to a separate endpoint with its own field mapping.
- Field mapping: Map fields from the JSON request body to named Wialon message parameters.
- Wialon sensor support: Use imported parameters in Wialon sensors to display values in the configured format.
- Tracker data preserved: Imported messages are added to the same vehicle alongside the device’s messages.
- Queue management: Buffer messages for each vehicle, import them in order, and view pending messages and import diagnostics.
- Admin app: View configured sources and monitor the message queue.
