35 days, 12 000 kilometers and 35 countries

Wialon joined Jukka Kuosmanen, a triathlete from Finland, on his risky triathlon race. Back in May Kuosmanen went on a journey to promote triathlon in Europe and work out with sportsmen from 35 countries. 

The journey was quite a challenge. First, Jukka had to cover 12 thousand kilometers by car, although he had never been to many countries from the list. Second, he couldn’t book a room at a hotel. If no one from the local triathlon community offered Jukka a place to stay overnight, he had to sleep in his car. What is more important, he almost didn’t have time for rest since the aim of Road Trip was to visit 35 European countries in 35 days. 

The trip got extensive media coverage and attention of numerous IT-companies which specialize in GPS-tracking. As a result, CarCops, our partner from Estonia, sponsored Jukka in his race and provided him with GPS hardware and an opportunity to track his car with Wialon. Using the Locator app, Jukka was able to indicate precise location on social media for fans to join his workouts. Second, the triathlete could be assured that the car is safe. 

The Road Trip tour ended on June, 7th. Now Jukka Kuosmanen is going to visit the United Kingdom and Ireland.
