Wialon in Brazil. Key moments from Exposec 2024

Exposec is an international security fair held annually in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In June, this exhibition celebrated its 25th edition, attracting around 45,000 visitors interested in the latest technologies, products, and services for the security sector. The Wialon team participated in this event alongside our technology partners.

Addressing Brazilian market demands

Since Wialon offers a wide range of features that have proven successful in improving vehicle, driver, and cargo security, we regularly participate in Exposec. This year was no exception.

We showcased our fleet management solutions to local telematics businesses eager to find the best options to meet their clients’ needs. Our participation in Exposec provided a great opportunity to connect with industry peers, exchange insights, and contribute to the industry's growth.

Expo visitors came to our booth with a variety of requests: some attendees were interested in basic GPS tracking and vehicle theft prevention capabilities, while others sought to track risky driver behavior and obtain in-depth analytics to optimize costs. Wialon, being a universal and flexible platform, can adapt to all these different tasks. The diversity of requests and businesses seeking telematics solutions once again confirmed that Brazil has great potential for us.

Wialon IoT zone: a hub of collaboration

For the second year in a row, Wialon collaborated with technology partners — hardware manufacturers and software development companies — to jointly present the latest fleet management solutions at Exposec. We do this within the IoT zone, a dedicated space where visitors can explore new devices and discuss potential telematics projects.

This year, exhibition attendees had a chance to meet five key players in the telematics and fleet management market in the IoT zone:

• A-Telematics: providing OEM and ODM telematics hardware;
• Dogo: specializing in digital SaaS for transportation and logistics;
• Escort: making control and measurement devices for GPS tracking;
• Newtec: creating data acquisition hardware solutions;
• TSP Hub: offering innovative telematics solutions.

Over the three days of the exhibition, the IoT zone attracted many visitors, hosted important discussions, and opened the door to new partnerships with Brazilian telematics service providers and technology partners.
