Launching the marketplace of Wialon-based solutions

The idea of creating a comprehensive catalog of Wialon-based solutions and integrations with third-party systems has been in the air for quite a while already, and it finally became a reality! We are delighted to let you know that now on gurtam.com, we have an entire marketplace where you can quickly and easily look through the available telematics and IoT solutions, pick the one you need, or offer your development to the community. 

Read on to learn what you will find in a new section, how to use it, and why we created it.

Section’s content 

In the marketplace, we put:

• Wialon-based solutions developed by Gurtam – Hecterra, Fleetrun, NimBus, Logistics, WiaTag;
• Wialon-based solutions developed by partners;
• Wialon integrations with third-party systems.

Thus, the marketplace contains the fullest collection of the solutions developed on top of Wialon and integrated with the system for 18 years.

How to use it

Here we implemented filters by categories, regions as well as the ability to sort out “free” and “recommended” solutions. There is also a handy search option across the apps: if you know the name of the development or the developer, the search will take seconds. You can also use the search by description.

Each application in the catalog has its own block with a short description. By clicking on the block, you will see the solution’s dedicated page with a full description, screenshots, useful links, developer’s contact information, and similar apps.

A tab with popular categories displays the categories that the gurtam.com visitors are most interested in. By clicking on a popular category’s block, you’ll find yourself on the page where we gathered all the corresponding solutions. Find the apps you need, look through them, and contact the developers directly.

WIalon’s broad functionality allows using the platform for any project. Wialon API, in its turn, removes any boundaries when it comes to the telematics application. Many Wialon partners are already making use of that by creating their own apps, which sets them apart from the competitors.

Marketplace on gurtam.com lets us accumulate the solutions and integrations created by the community and offer them to all the Wialon partners. While the introduction of the app catalog will provide a necessary impulse for the growth of the developers as a part of the partner community.

In the future, we are also planning to automate the process of the solutions’ publishing and promotion so that this ecosystem could function as autonomously as possible.
