The stops were equipped with old schedule plates with no real-time data and outdated information. The plates were small, and it caused difficulties for visually impaired passengers.

Solution

Solution

GLONASS-SERVICE, the Wialon partner, offered the solution with the following components included: Wialon + NimBus + interactive display.

  • The client provided a public transport schedule for further configuring NimBus and GPS tracking platform Wialon. The partner did the preliminary work of building the net of stops, routes and schedules, their seasonal corrections, and also educated the operators on using NimBus.
  • Then, a special script for data processing was created along with the following integration of interactive displays and NimBus.
  • The buses were equipped with the SMART S-2333 devices by Navtelecom, while the stops were provided with LED information displays by It-Line with the recorded announcement system.
  • The partner made it possible to remotely control, reboot the display, and change its configuration without traveling to the stops with the displays.
