The citizens of Sosnovy Bor, a small town in the Leningradsky region, had no opportunity to get precise information regarding the arrival of public transport. The stops were equipped with old schedule plates with no real-time data and outdated information. The plates were small, and it caused difficulties for visually impaired passengers.
GLONASS-SERVICE, the Wialon partner located in St. Petersburg (Russia), offered the solution with the following components included: Wialon + NimBus + interactive display.
That's how the display looks like
The system provides up-to-date arrival information on each specific bus that appears on the interactive displays.
Now the passengers know exactly when the next bus comes so that they can easily manage their time.
Thanks to the telematics products, visually impaired passengers get the information from the display on an equal basis with other citizens and without any limitations.
