This year’s 30th-anniversary edition of ESS+, one of Latin America’s major events for the security industry, was an exciting opportunity the Wialon team couldn’t pass up. We headed to Bogotá, eager to present our platform's capabilities, build new professional relationships, and reconnect with regional partners at the expo and over dinner.

Read on to explore the key moments of our time at the international security fair in Colombia.

About the ESS+

For 30 years, ESS+ has been a platform for showcasing various security solutions in Latin America, from electronic security to cybersecurity and occupational safety. This prominent event brings together key regional players in the sector, including service providers, hardware manufacturers, government agencies, and independent consultants.

The 2024 anniversary edition featured over 300 exhibitors from 26 countries, a significant increase over previous years. With more than 15,000 attendees, there were ample opportunities to exchange experiences, best practices, and insights. The spotlight was on emerging trends and innovations shaping the future of security through 2030.

Wialon in focus

More and more companies in Latin America turn to fleet digitization to protect their vehicles, drivers, and cargo. As expected, the Wialon booth at ESS+ 2024 was in high demand: our software offers many features that have proven successful in enhancing safety.

Overall, our team had three busy and exciting days. Expo visitors were eager to experience the solution firsthand and learn how Wialon can address local fleet challenges, while fellow exhibitors engaged in discussions about industry trends. We also met our trustful partners, ready to explore new ways to collaborate and grow their businesses with Wialon.

Building connections: presentation and partner dinner

Wialon participated in the expo’s conference program with a presentation by Sergio Alejandro Gallego Arango, Partner Success Manager at Wialon. He showcased the solution's key business and technical features and outlined a clear roadmap for how service providers can integrate Wialon into their clients' operations.

However, it wasn’t our only networking opportunity at the ESS+. Wialon also hosted an exclusive dinner for our partner community. With representatives from companies in Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Peru, and Mexico, it turned out to be a genuinely insightful meeting in an informal setting — ideal for making connections and having open conversations about the fleet sector, business growth, and regional collaboration. Additionally, our team presented the latest Wialon news and updates.

"The contacts we established at ESS+ 2024 reaffirm the strength of our partner community across Latin America. It's always inspiring to see how our software not only addresses specific regional challenges for fleets but also sparks new business ideas.

We want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth or joined us for the partner dinner! With the expo now behind, we’re excited to build on this momentum, foster these business relationships, and work together to shape the fleet management landscape in the region."
