EDGE Solar 9640

Manufacturer: Iridium, the USA

Iridium’s Edge Solar 9640 is a tracker with photovoltaic solar cells and no external connectors. It’s a programmable, solar-powered device for real-time GPS tracking. Over-the-air configuration changes are available. There are two reporting modes: interval and scheduled. EDGE Solar 9640 offers a 10-year operational service life. Back-up battery capacity provides twice a day reporting for five years with no solar availability. The device was released on January 5, 2021.
