In July, we updated Wialon Hosting alongside with all apps: today we’ll talk about Hecterra, Fleetrun, and NimBus.
We added the Description field in reports. There you can specify what the template was created for, give recommendations on its execution and analysis. It is useful for configuring the system for the end user. Find the description text in the template name tooltip.
You can change the Wialon Hosting color scheme in User Settings and choose not just a basic design but four extra skins as well (if you haven’t got a customized skin).
The player got a new stylish interface. On top of that, it works faster now and displays data more vividly.
In reports most popular tables (Digital Sensors, Summary, Trips, Engine Hours), we added the columns with maximum, minimum, average, initial, and final values of the custom sensor. It makes the data management even more flexible, allowing, for example, to compare speed data from CAN and GPS.
We added the Unit column in Eco Driving and Infringements tables in reports on drivers. Besides, there is now the Count column in the Infringements table. These enhancements will allow getting more detailed info on the quality of the driving style.
We redesigned the preloader image for Wialon Hosting and CMS Manager. The changes are relevant for the default interface as well as the personal designs.
There is a special topic where the Gurtam forum users can learn about the new Wialon Hosting features. Get registered if you haven’t done it yet.
We developed the compound cultivations interface. Now, on the “Compound” tab you can merge individual cultivations into one single entity (work in successive shifts, the field cultivation that takes several days, vehicles, drivers, etc.). Pay attention that you can combine only registered cultivations. The results are displayed in the reports.
In the User settings, you can specify the working day start time (when the system starts searching for potential cultivations) from 00:00 (by default) to 10:00. It will allow not to split cultivations at the cusp of two 24-hour days.
Now, in the process of registering the cultivation you can add it to crop rotation as sowing/harvesting type. To do so, activate the “Add to crop rotation as” function and select the right option in the dropdown list. If the previously specified crop differs from the one being registered, it will be replaced. For example, the corn planting on May 4 will be deleted if you register the potato planting on May 5 on the same field.
On the dashboard, we added the calendar of cultivations showing the information on the cultivations registered within three months: the current month and two previous ones. The green color marks the days with registered cultivations. The more intense the color is, the larger is the cultivated area. Thus, right from the start you can grasp the days without any cultivations.
We added the new report type – by crop. Now you can get a detailed report on each crop growing on your fields including the cultivated area, the duration, unit, driver, etc.

In July, Fleetrun developers focused on new functions for drivers и trailers:
Now, you can add drivers and trailers to fleet as in fact they are subject to maintenance too like vehicles and stationary units. The driver needs to renew his insurance, working permit, driving license and so on every once in a while. The trailers usually undergo the same planned and unplanned works as vehicles themselves.
You can add drivers and trailers to your fleet in the "Administration" mode on the "Service objects" tab.
The user can assign drivers or trailers to intervals on the Assigned service objects tabs inside of the corresponding interval.
Now, on the New service page, you can select the service object type and create the service for a driver or trailer.
You can view the data on drivers/trailers together with the data on vehicles on the Service objects page.
We supported the drivers/trailers display in online notifications if they are the service objects. When sending the notification to email, external server, or Telegram, the system will put the name of the corresponding driver or trailer in the text as well.

In the previous update, we introduced the function of data exporting in the GTFS format. The current update gives the opportunity to import stops, routes, schedules, and operation patterns in the GTFS format. Just like export, import is carried out on the Administration tab.
Data import will allow a significant speeding up of the initial depot setting up during the start of the project. The function also helps transfer data between different depots if necessary.
In all report types, we added the "Unit left the route path" column. Now you can get the number of off-the-route-path events not only online but in reports as well. The unit is considered to be off the route path when it moves away from it for more than 50 meters.

July turned out to be rich in new functionality. In a month, we will prepare the review of August features. Meanwhile, feel free to try and test the new functionality of the platform and apps and leave your comments on the Gurtam forum.
