Wialon's trip to Dubai was action-packed, just as we anticipated. We kicked off our week in Dubai with the Wialon community reunion held the day before the exhibition. It was a pleasure to meet our partners in person and engage in a full day of productive networking sessions and insightful discussions. During the event, we celebrated our partners' achievements by announcing this year’s leaders in the Wialon Top Partners and GPS Hardware Manufacturers Top 10 rankings and honoring the winners of the IoT project of the year contest.
After wrapping up a busy day, we moved on to one of the highlights of our annual event calendar: GITEX GLOBAL 2024.
This enormous exhibition continues to be a pivotal event for the tech world, and the Wialon team was thrilled to be back in the heart of it all for the 2024 edition. From October 14 to 18, the Dubai World Trade Centre transformed into a vibrant hub of cutting-edge technology for the 44th time. The massive five-day exhibition united thousands of professionals, from pioneering startups to established tech giants, all eager to share expertise, forge new partnerships, and showcase the latest advancements in the industry. The numbers speak for themselves: with over 6,500 exhibitors, 1,800 startups, and 1,200 investors from more than 180 countries, GITEX GLOBAL 2024 marked its highest level of international participation to date.

Our impressive 220-square-meter fleet management hub became a lively destination, drawing industry professionals together in a bustling space for networking and collaboration. This exhibition concept once again unites fleet management and telematics service providers, hardware manufacturers, and connectivity providers, offering a convenient, all-in-one location for comprehensive fleet digitalization solutions.
Wialon’s lively fleet management hub at GITEX GLOBAL 2024
At GITEX, our fleet management hub featured a diverse lineup of partners, including established hardware manufacturers Navtelecom, Escort Monitoring Systems, and Jointech, showcasing a range of their leading devices; IoT and digital transformation specialist MaliaTec (Lebanon); Skylark Automotive, experts in intelligent speed-limiting technology; Howen Technologies, offering video telematics and vehicle service systems; BSJ Technology, a prominent Chinese hardware manufacturer that recently joined the Wialon community; and Atlanta Systems from India, presenting IoT-based vehicle telematics and indoor tracking solutions.
The fleet management hub provided an ideal opportunity to explore Wialon’s capabilities, discover specialized solutions from our partners, and gain insights into the latest hardware directly from manufacturer representatives. Visitors were able to connect firsthand with Wialon’s senior executives and consult with our experts from Partner Success Team, New Sales Team, Technical Care, Project Implementation, Partner Growth, Development Center, and Marketing.
It was truly inspiring to witness the dynamic exchange of ideas amongst attendees, Wialon team members, and co-exhibitor experts.
A new feature of our fleet management hub this year was the dedicated presentation zone, an experimental addition that proved to be highly successful. Short, engaging presentations drew considerable interest, offering an excellent public speaking platform for both the Wialon team and our co-exhibitors. This initiative provided a dynamic way to share key information about Wialon and our partners in a compact, interactive format, allowing for real-time discussion and audience engagement.

“It was a rewarding experience to witness the attendees’ interest and to help them learn more about Wialon in a concise, structured format. Each session allowed us to answer questions immediately and engage in meaningful conversations with potential clients and partners. The presentation zone quickly became a focal point, highlighting the value of sharing information in an accessible and conversational setting.”
GITEX GLOBAL 2024 underscored the undeniable importance of collaboration and innovation in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. The event attracted an impressive audience of over 200,000 people, with more than 40% attending for the first time. This level of global participation created an ideal environment for cross-regional collaboration, which is expected to drive further growth within the tech ecosystem.
For Wialon, this event serves as a crucial platform to showcase our software to a large audience of telematics enthusiasts, strengthen existing partnerships, and explore new paths to success in the GCC region.
