Wialon Top 10 Africa 2024: transforming fleet management across the continent

The number of vehicles connected to Wialon keeps growing — this year, we surpassed the impressive milestone of 4 million. To celebrate the partners who contributed the most to this growth over the past 12 months, we are excited to unveil the Wialon Top Partners 2024. This prestigious ranking, a cherished tradition within our community, showcases the top ten companies from each of the seven regions: Africa, Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America. 

This recognition goes beyond just numbers; it acknowledges the exceptional professionalism of our partners and the unique contributions each region brings to the global fleet management landscape.

To show our appreciation for the winners, Wialon covered up to $1,000 in travel expenses for one representative from all the companies included in the Wialon Top Partners 2024 regional rankings who decided to attend the Wialon community reunion in Dubai.

Meet Wialon Top 10 Africa 2024

The telematics market in Africa is advancing impressively, fueled by rising demand for fleet digitalization and cargo security solutions in industries such as mining, construction, logistics, and agriculture. Companies are increasingly prioritizing features like real-time monitoring, automated documentation, geofencing, driver behavior tracking, and fuel control.

South Africa stands out as one of the leaders in the adoption of telematics on the continent. Berg Insight experts predict 3.8 million telematics systems will be installed in commercial vehicles in the country by 2028. Meanwhile, other African markets show promising potential, too.

Wialon’s partner network in Africa spans the entire continent. In 2024, we were excited to reconnect with many of our industry peers from different countries at key regional industry events: Securex South Africa, the top security and fire trade show, and GITEX Africa Morocco, a leading tech and startup exhibition.

The ranking showcases the region's diverse, dynamic, and competitive landscape. 

There are many new rising leaders, along with consistent top performers like ProGPS and TOUREX CORPORATE, who were featured in last year’s ranking as well.

Last but not least, remember the 4-millionth vehicle connection to Wialon we mentioned earlier? The company behind this achievement, GotYou Telematics, is based in South Africa. Although they haven’t yet reached the top partner rankings, their achievement still adds special significance to Wialon’s growing presence in Africa, serving as a promising sign of future collaboration opportunities across the continent.
