Wialon Top 10 South America 2024: meeting market needs for a competitive edge

The number of vehicles connected to Wialon keeps growing — this year, we surpassed the impressive milestone of 4 million. To celebrate the partners who contributed the most to this growth over the past 12 months, we are excited to unveil the Wialon Top Partners 2024. This prestigious ranking, a cherished tradition within our community, showcases the top ten companies from each of the seven regions: Africa, Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America. 

This recognition goes beyond just numbers; it acknowledges the exceptional professionalism of our partners and the unique contributions each region brings to the global fleet management landscape.

To show our appreciation for the winners, Wialon covered up to $1,000 in travel expenses for one representative from all the companies included in the Wialon Top Partners 2024 regional rankings who decided to attend the Wialon community reunion in Dubai. 

Meet Wialon Top 10 South America 2024

South America’s telematics market is experiencing steady growth, creating opportunities for our partners across both advanced and developing markets on the continent. Fleet digitalization solutions are becoming essential across many industries, especially logistics, transportation, and agriculture.

There are plenty of unique market specifics in the region. In Peru, all vehicles in the road transport and distribution industry must report their GPS location to the monitoring and management center. In Colombia, one of the emerging trends is insurance telematics: companies offer policies where premiums are determined based on real-time data about driving habits.

Brazil boasts the biggest partner network among the countries represented in the 2024 Wialon South American ranking — over 110 companies leverage Wialon to power a wide range of projects, from optimizing concrete deliveries to enhancing driver safety during vehicle testing. However, Chile has the highest number of vehicles connected to Wialon among the ranked countries — more than 55,000.

Now, let’s applaud the standout performers in South America. 

GPS Chile, this year's winner, is the local market leader in telematics and tracking solutions — a remarkable achievement given how competitive the sector is in the region. They regularly participate in Wialon's annual contest, the IoT project of the year, showcasing impressive implementations, such as a solution for fuel consumption and driver behavior control. 

Congratulations to Maqsat, our largest partner in Uruguay, for securing second place! They are experts in government vehicle projects, satellite tracking, fleet management, and IoT solutions.

Claiming third place, TOTAL RADIO SYSTEMS. They were pioneers in Bolivia's communications industry, introducing trunked communication in 1996. We began our partnership in 2018, and they are now our largest partner in the country.
