The exhibition season 2019 that we successfully started in May with the first IoT zone at Expo Seguridad, has officially finished at MWC Los Angeles 2019. Throughout the entire 2019, we’ve been going places, visiting our partners on different continents, meeting potential partners, exploring their needs, and learning the latest telematics trends on the markets of different regions. At the end of the year, we became more advanced and experienced and brought all this info at the last Gurtam IoT zone. Read on to find out the details.

Gurtam IoT zone at MWC Los Angeles was a perfect ground where the attendees could find an out-of-the-box telematics solution, or work out a customized one taking into consideration all the business-specific requirements.

At the booth, we had 10 co-exhibiting companies that represented all elements of the telematics ecosystem: hardware manufacturers, system integrators, and developers of Wialon-based solutions and connectivity providers.

Hardware manufacturers, Xirgo Technologies, Suntech, Streamax Technology, Technoton, BeeTalker presented their latest development alongside tried and tested solutions.

Xirgo Technologies just rocked this expo showing their asset-monitoring products that are proven in verticals throughout the world. Their booth, by the way, was one of the most crowded throughout the three days of the show.

Among other things, Suntech introduced their ST4310 and ST4910D trackers for vehicle and stationary assets tracking, that are distinguished by their miniature size and being waterproof.

Streamax Technology, one of the leaders in the sphere of mobile surveillance, presented their video telematics devices and Wialon-based video monitoring app. It provides access to the live video feed from cameras installed in vehicles.

BeeTalker not only showcased their innovative broadband push-to-talk phones, but also held a lot of meetings, gained an impressive amount of potential clients and also wonderfully performed during the Telematics Los Angeles 2019 conference!

The developers of Wialon-based solutions proved one more time that Wialon is applicable literally anywhere from beer production to transportation of sensitive cargo.

DCS introduced MiFleet Vision, the new solution for commercial fleets which allows for real-time video of the drivers, the ability to manually pull pre-recorded events, and easily match dots on the map to video footage. Their other solution for refrigerated trucks monitoring was also popular among the visitors of our IoT zone.

Dogo Informatique showed their safe cooler for the first time. It guarantees the 0°C – 4°C temperature for up to 7 days with total autonomy. The sensors in the container measure the internal and external temperature in real time, provide real-time location, and the close/open status.

IoT zone participants

SpeedGauge introduced GaugeMyFleet, a free 90-day safety benchmarking program. It helps fleets improve safe driving performance, compare drivers to their peers in similar fleets, and access better insurance rates and coverage.

Potential clients interested in ELD solutions were redirected to Assured Tracking right away. Their app is seamlessly integrated with Wialon and ensures full compliance with the ELD mandate.

Most visitors of the Gurtam IoT zone were in one way or another acquainted with Wialon and Gurtam brands, and it just proves that we are moving in the right direction!

Here is what Sergei Leuchanka, Gurtam’s Managing Director, Americas, thinks about the event:

“This was the second time we exhibited at MWCA in the US in the IoT zone format. From the conversations with Gurtam partners and just about everyone who came by our booth, it was clearly something that helped draw increased attention to Gurtam and IoT zone participants. Such format allows us to establish ourselves as a key player helping create a tight ecosystem. Which, in its way, results in an easier and more effective way for the telematics solution providers to construct a custom offering and differentiate themselves in the highly competitive marketplace.

Those three days we spent in the Los Angeles Convention Center were exhausting, but also highly rewarding. Lots of new contacts, re-energized relationships with current partners, new engagements, and exciting projects to help move the industry forward – that is what MWCA 2019 helped create. It's a great momentum to build upon going into 2020.”

More IoT zones and other industry events are coming next year. There you will get a chance to meet Gurtam people in person and learn first-hand about the solutions of the partner community. The full list of upcoming exhibitions and conferences is in our events calendar.
