Every trip to Brazil is memorable for Wialon, but our recent visit to São Paulo truly reached a new level.
We’ve hosted the biggest Wialon community reunion in Brazil to date, celebrated our 1st Gold partner in the country, held the Wialon Top Partners awards ceremony, recognized most active local community contributors, and showcased our newest products. All of this took place in a special football atmosphere as we looked ahead to the start of FIFA World Cup 2026.
Top it all off with 3 incredibly productive days at Exposec, and it becomes a trip we will remember for years to come.
We are happy to relive these moments — and invite you to read the full recap of our recent trip in São Paulo.
1st half: Wialon community reunion
May 31
We kicked things off in São Paulo with our community gathering, bringing together partners from Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Chile for a day full of learning, networking, and celebration.
The reunion set a new attendance record for a Wialon community event in Brazil
The numbers alone tell part of the story. With 110 attendees, the event became the largest Wialon partner gathering ever held in Brazil. It is a reflection of the country's impressive momentum, as Brazil is currently the fastest-growing Wialon market in Latin America. Over the years, we have built a strong local presence backed by a Portuguese-speaking team that provides 24/7 support and continuously develops Portuguese-language resources for the community.
The agenda was packed from start to finish. It included presentations on Wialon Platform, a powerful solution builder for next-generation fleet digitalization, and Wialon Lite, a lightweight fleet digitalization solution for projects that demand core functionality, security, and rapid deployment. Alongside the product sessions, the program covered key industry trends in the region and video telematics insights.
Attendees also heard from Eliane Souza Nascimento, Supply Chain Director at Martin Brower, who shared valuable insights into cold chain transportation from the perspective of one of Brazil's leading logistics providers.
We also demonstrated how AI is becoming part of the Wialon experience through Lona in My requests and the new Wialon app for ChatGPT. These solutions reflect our steady progress in bringing AI into everyday fleet management, while the growing interest from partners shows that the regional market is increasingly focusing on practical AI applications. The program also included a technical workshop on our smart farming solution, and brought partners together for panel discussions. It was an intensive program, but one that delivered valuable insights and sparked meaningful conversations throughout the day.
Of course, no community gathering would be complete without celebrating the people and companies driving that success. One of the most important moments was recognizing Segsat Tecnologia as the 1st partner in Brazil to reach Gold partner status.
I’d like to thank everyone for their support. No one achieves anything alone.
I’m here representing the 60 people who work alongside me, and I wish they could all be here with me today so you could see the team behind this achievement. They work hard every single day, and receiving this recognition means a lot to all of us.
Thank you.
– Welklin Ribeiro, Product Manager at Segsat Tecnologia
Segsat Tecnologia also received their well-deserved Wialon Top Partners award for taking the 3rd place in South America in our annual partner ranking, and we were happy to present Localiza Paraguay with their award for the 6th position.

We also recognized the most active members of our Portuguese-speaking WhatsApp community group for their ongoing contributions and support: Daniel Vezzi from News Center, Iago de Oliveira from Detect Car, and Helton Nascimento from Tokio Systems Rastreamento.

Throughout the day, attendees could also talk to hardware experts from Intelbras, Escort Monitoring Systems, Howen Technologies, and WanWayTech, creating additional opportunities for consultations, discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Adding a unique flavor to the reunion was the growing excitement around the FIFA World Cup 2026. Guests participated in a football-inspired quest for a chance to win a Brazilian national team jersey, and an evening screening of Brazil’s victorious pre-World Cup friendly match against Panama created the kind of atmosphere only football can bring.
Even after the official program wrapped up, the reunion carried on. Despite 3 busy days at Exposec still ahead, nobody seemed in a hurry to leave — in fact, the venue closing was probably the only thing that brought the evening to an end.
2nd half: Exposec
June 1–3
Still energized from the Wialon community reunion, we headed straight to Exposec, one of the largest security and technology exhibitions in Latin America. The Wialon fleet management hub became our home for the next 3 days, bringing together the Wialon team and our co-exhibitors Intelbras, Escort Monitoring Systems, Howen Technologies, and WanWayTech in one convenient space.

Darya Chumak, Head of Partner Success at Wialon, spent all 3 days in the middle of the action at Exposec. We asked her to share the key trends and insights that stood out most.
What caught our attention at Exposec
Our time at Exposec was busy, dynamic, and highly insightful. The discussions with partners, vendors, and visitors gave us a closer look at the technologies and business needs currently shaping the Brazilian fleet management landscape.
Cargo security and cargo recovery were among the dominant themes across the exhibition. Fleet visibility and cargo protection remain crucial for the Brazilian market. The good news is that the tools needed to address these needs — from geofences, detailed reporting, and notification alerts to remote engine shutoff — are all part of Wialon’s core functionality, creating strong opportunities for our partners serving logistics, retail, and pharmaceutical customers.
Connectivity was another recurring topic. Hybrid LTE and satellite communication solutions attracted significant attention, particularly among companies operating in remote areas. As satellite connectivity becomes more accessible, businesses in agriculture, mining, and long-haul transportation are gaining new ways to maintain visibility and control, even far beyond traditional cellular network coverage.
Video telematics was impossible to miss at Exposec. One of the clearest trends was the rising demand for video solutions in motorcycle and last-mile delivery fleets. These businesses increasingly need video monitoring capabilities, but traditional MDVR hardware is often too expensive or too complex for large-scale deployment on motorcycles. As manufacturers introduce lighter and more affordable alternatives, video telematics is becoming accessible to an entirely new segment of fleet operators.
Of course, AI was present in many conversations, although currently adoption in the region mostly remains at an early stage. With most discussions centered on practical AI applications, the Wialon app for ChatGPT naturally became one of the topics that attracted attention. Visitors were eager to learn how natural language interactions could simplify access to fleet data, reduce the time needed to find information, and make telematics platforms more accessible to a broader range of users.
Last but not least, agriculture repeatedly surfaced as another high-potential area. One memorable example came during a dinner with our partner Maqsat from Uruguay, where we discovered that the wine on the table came from a vineyard managed with the help of our smart farming solution. Moments like this illustrate how telematics technologies are becoming deeply integrated into modern agricultural operations and highlight the opportunities still ahead for the sector.

Together, the Wialon community reunion and Exposec made this trip to São Paulo one of our most productive visits to Brazil. We are grateful to everyone who spent time with us and are already looking forward to continuing these conversations in the future!
