If we had a scratch map of every country we’ve visited for major tech expos, Germany would already have a spot — or rather, several. For years, we made annual trips to Hanover for CeBIT, one of the world's leading technology trade fairs until its final edition in 2018. Then, in 2025, we returned to Germany for the first GITEX Europe in Berlin. This autumn, we’re packing our bags and heading back — to Hanover once again.
From September 15 to 20, Wialon is making its debut at IAA Transportation 2026, bringing fleet digitalization solutions tailored specifically for Europe, the latest practical AI tools, and a solid team of experts ready to talk projects, answer tech questions, and discuss business face-to-face.
It’s also our best opportunity this autumn to catch up in person with the European partner community and hear directly about their current priorities and projects.
So, why are we so excited about IAA Transportation 2026? Let's look at the highlights.
A place where Europe’s fleet realities come into focus
There’s a reason IAA Transportation takes place in Germany: it’s the heart of Europe’s telematics and commercial transport innovation. Every two years, Hanover turns into the industry’s main gathering spot, bringing together around 150,000 visitors and over 1,700 exhibitors, including giants like Mercedes-Benz, Ford Trucks, Volvo, and ZF.
With so many heavyweights under one roof, this is exactly where you want to be to spot the next big shifts in fleet tech. It’s a direct reflection of what’s happening across Europe, where more than 44 million commercial vehicles are under constant pressure to digitalize.
One of the biggest reasons for that is compliance. International transport companies have to deal with a mountain of regulations: installing mandatory smart tachographs, proving their drivers aren't overworked to avoid massive fines, and submitting detailed reports on how much CO2 their trucks emit.
At the exact same time, smaller local fleets live in a totally different world. They want simple answers to daily questions: Where is the van right now? Is the driver on schedule? Can my team check this on their phones without a two-day training course?
Taking Wialon Platform to Hanover
Finding the right balance between everyday simplicity and heavy compliance is the exact reason we built Wialon Platform. And that’s why it’s taking center stage at IAA Transportation.
At its core, Wialon Platform gives service providers a direct route to market with their own branded fleet products. You get a ready-to-use foundation where Wialon powers the tech behind the scenes, while you retain total control over your app, its branding, packaging, and client relationships.
Since we launched Wialon Platform in September 2025, it has come a long way. We’ve spent the past year expanding and refining its toolset, and IAA Transportation, with its European fleet audience, is the perfect stage to showcase how far it’s grown. Today, the solution handles tasks from essential daily fleet management for local fleets to advanced setups requiring tachograph analytics, digital vehicle forms, emissions tracking, and private-use management.
At our booth, we'll show you how Wialon Platform links every role in a fleet operation:
-
Studio (for Wialon partners): Your control hub to configure project templates, manage client access, and apply custom branding.
-
FleetSpace (available on web and mobile): The primary workspace where fleet managers, dispatchers, and owners can run their daily operations simply and effectively.
-
Wialon Driver (driver app): An easy-to-use app right behind the wheel for filling out digital vehicle forms, taking route assignments, and staying connected with the office.

Wialon Platform is the highlight of our presence at IAA Transportation, but it's far from the only solution we'll be displaying. From Wialon Hosting and Wialon Local to Wialon Lite, our experts are there to help you navigate the options and figure out which solution makes the most sense for your business model and the fleets you serve.
AI built for real fleet work
It’s easy to treat AI as just another industry buzzword, but at Wialon, we view it purely as a practical tool. We aren’t adding AI just to check a tech box. We’re building it into Wialon for one simple reason: to make the daily routine easier for anyone managing a fleet.
That mindset has already resulted in several AI-powered tools assisting Wialon users every day. Our latest addition is the Wialon plugin for ChatGPT, which allows users to access fleet data through natural language conversations.

Beyond our ChatGPT plugin, AI is already built into the way partners work with Wialon. Partners already benefit from a combination of fast AI-powered assistance and our team's expertise through My requests, a unified space for all Wialon-related inquiries. AI also helps partners select and configure compatible hardware for their projects, as well as understand Wialon features directly within the interface.

An “all-star” expo team
Lining up executive schedules for a 6-day event is no easy feat (anyone who has ever tried booking a company-wide Zoom meeting knows the feeling!). But for IAA Transportation, we made it happen. Our team in Hanover will include:
They’ll be joined by key experts from our Technical Growth, Partner Success, and Sales teams.
For partners and visitors alike, it’s a great chance to speak directly with Wialon’s leadership. Come discuss a project, ask questions, or simply share feedback with the people who shape our product, partner strategy, customer experience, and international growth.
A well-deserved pit stop: Partner dinner on September 17
6 days on an expo floor is an absolute marathon, so we’re making time to slow down. On September 17, we’re hosting a relaxed dinner for our partners, a welcome break from the fast pace of IAA Transportation.
Meeting our partners in person is always a highlight, and having an entire evening together makes it even more special. During the evening, we'll host the Wialon Top Partners 2026 awards ceremony, recognizing our partners' achievements over the past calendar year.
Spaces are limited, so please make sure to reserve your free spot in advance so we can save a place at the table for you!
See you soon in Hanover!
If you're planning to attend, be sure to stop by the Wialon booth: we'd love to see you there. Here's a quick recap:
