GPS Hardware Manufacturers TOP 10: results 2020

The first GPS Hardware Manufacturers TOP 10 award ceremony took place at the gala party, dedicated to the anniversary partner conference TelematiX in 2019. In 2020, the ceremony was held online. We awarded the hardware manufacturers who connected the biggest number of devices to Wialon Hosting from June 1, 2019, through May 31, 2020.

Why online? Initially, we had planned to hold all the award ceremonies during the Telematics 2020 conference in Minsk. However, the COVID-19 pandemic prevented us from organizing the offline event. The care for the participants’ health and wellbeing became our number one priority, and we changed the format.

Who has become the best in 2020?

Irina Radchenko, Strategic HW Relationships Manager at Gurtam, was hosting the GPS Hardware Manufacturers TOP 10 ceremony. She greeted everybody who had joined the live broadcast.

Then, Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon Division, told about the most memorable events of the year highlighting the significance of the award ceremonies. When the whole world is in self-isolation, coming together is essential even if it’s only online.

After his talk, the representatives of companies that got into the TOP 10 went live one after another and shared their impressions.

GPS Hardware Manufacturers TOP 10 2020 results

There are three first-timers in the TOP 10 this year: Bitrek, TOPFLYtech, Queclink Wireless Solutions. Welcome!

Queclink Wireless Solutions and TOPFLYtech have scored really high in the rating. We wish them to keep going!

We are also happy for the companies that made it to the rating for the second time in a row: Suntech, СalAmp, Ruptela, Concox, Xirgo Global  (last year, they were in the rating as ВСЕ), Teltonika, and Navtelecom. Note that CalAmp moved up from the 8th to the 6th position, while Сoncox hit the 4th place after being the 6th last year. Well done!

2020 brought a well-deserved victory to Navtelecom who occupied the second position last year losing only to Teltonika. Nevertheless, Teltonika is still among the three leaders having taken second place this time. Can’t wait to see how the situation will unfold next year.

This is how the first ten out of 590 hardware manufacturers that have their devices supported by Wialon were distributed in the final table. The GPS Hardware Manufacturers TOP 10 rating is based on the connected devices’ dynamics. It means that any company has a chance to get to the TOP 10.

Here’s what the rating’s leader said about their victory.
