Wialon has joined Fleet Forum, the only global not-for-profit organization focused on making humanitarian transport cleaner, safer, and more efficient. In this article, we explain what the organization does and why this partnership matters.

About Fleet Forum

Humanitarian organizations around the world have their own fleets that they use daily to deliver aid to those in need. But even in this field, it’s crucial to consider not only what is delivered and to whom, but also how. Fleet Forum is an organization dedicated to reducing risks in fleet operations, improving road safety, and promoting environmental responsibility.

It’s a global network of over 40 members — including NGOs, IGOs, academic institutions, donors, and companies — all working together to share expertise and improve aid logistics. Among its members are some of the world’s most impactful humanitarian aid organizations, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Medical Corps, UNHCR, UNICEF, and others.

Fleet Forum’s initiatives include implementing ride- and vehicle-sharing projects, training and consulting to improve fleet management, developing road safety and emission reduction programs, and others. Through these efforts, the organization is driving positive change, ensuring that humanitarian operations are not only effective but also safer and more sustainable for the communities they serve.

What Wialon brings to the humanitarian field

Some of our current Wialon users are humanitarian organizations that regularly deliver aid and support frontline workers. Seeing how Wialon helps streamline their operations, we’re committed to helping even more such organizations benefit from our solution.

As a knowledge partner, Wialon will support Fleet Forum in accelerating fleet digitalization across the humanitarian sector

We’ll contribute by sharing our expertise through consultations and hosting educational webinars focused on technology integration and advanced fleet management solutions. By taking these steps, and more, we aim to help organizations deliver aid more quickly and safely, enhance driver behavior, and reduce environmental impact.

“We believe that professional fleet management can help save lives, reduce costs, and support environmental progress. Fleet Forum plays an incredibly important role in shaping responsible fleet practices in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in challenging environments. By helping humanitarian organizations around the world harness fleet digitalization technology and use data to measure and improve their performance, we are helping them place social, financial, and environmental sustainability at the core of their fleet management strategy.”

We’ve already kicked off our collaboration by hosting the first webinar, “How to effectively track a diverse fleet.” Viktoria Abramenko, Technical Growth Manager at Wialon, shared practical strategies and showed how Wialon can support more efficient fleet operations.

More webinars and joint projects are on the way — stay tuned!
