Wialon IoT zone shines at Expo Seguridad Mexico 2023

The 20th edition of Expo Seguridad Mexico 2023, the largest annual security industry event in Latin America took place on April 18-20, 2023. It gathered together leading manufacturers and distributors of IT products and solutions that provide physical and cyber security to organizations, governments, and homes. The Wialon team joined the show with the interactive IoT zone, introducing visitors to the most advanced telematics technologies. Traditionally, the Wialon Telematics CDMX partner conference was held a day before the expo.

Security: a mission we must all work together to accomplish

Most Latin American countries, including Brazil and Mexico, are facing major security issues such as crime, high rates of road accidents, lack of clarity in management processes, vehicle and fuel theft, etc. All this demands a better and more effective security infrastructure and boosts the growth of the security market in the region.

The three-day Expo Seguridad Mexico 2023 was attended by more than 240 exhibitors from 22 countries and thousands of visitors from all over the world.

It is worth mentioning the general trend in the Latin American fleet management market: more and more fleet owners are starting to request functions that allow them to check driver behavior (seat belts fastened, use of smartphones, fatigue and distraction detection). Therefore, if recently it has been only a trend to come, now we are witnessing a considerable growth of interest towards it.

Wialon IoT zone

The Wialon IoT zone was one of the main attractions of the exhibition. It focused on the presentation of security solutions featuring temperature and motion sensors, asset monitoring, access control and fleet management among others. A space of almost 200 square meters hosted the leading representatives of the world of telematics and IoT.

In addition, visitors could talk with the co-exhibiting companies and see how Wialon-based solutions integrate seamlessly with other IoT systems to provide more complex solutions to customers.
