Introducing AI-powered assistant tools to the Wialon ecosystem

As AI continues to weave its way into our daily lives, it was only natural for the Wialon team to embrace its potential for the benefit of our users and partners. We are pleased to announce steady progress in integrating AI-powered tools into the Wialon ecosystem, with two specialized AI assistants now available to all users.

The global buzz around AI has only grown stronger in recent years. AI-powered tools are being integrated into an ever-increasing number of services, revolutionizing our approach to daily tasks and reshaping our routines minute by minute. From organizing a shopping list to processing large data sets, AI reduces time spent on repetitive tasks, leaving more room for creativity and strategic thinking.

Introducing Wialon AI tools

Our team’s enthusiasm for AI has led to the development of several tools designed to improve usability and provide relevant answers to your questions. These efforts culminated in the launch of two AI assistant bots in November.

Hardware AI Assistant

The Hardware AI Assistant is your go-to resource for questions about devices from 10 manufacturers marked with the "Extended expertise" flag. To interact with it, click on the “AI Assistant” tab on a device’s page and type your question in the designated field. The assistant will answer your questions about the devices and provide basic recommendations for hardware selection and configuration.

Wialon AI Assistant

The second tool designed to enhance your experience with our software is the Wialon AI Assistant. It was created to streamline your learning experience, offering quick guidance and saving you valuable time as you navigate through the Wialon help center and familiarize yourself with the platform. 

When you open the help center page, you’ll notice the “AI Assistant” pop-up in the bottom-right corner. Simply click on it and type your question in the designated field. The assistant will deliver an answer and can also provide direct links to relevant articles upon request.

While both tools have undergone rigorous testing to ensure accuracy, they may occasionally provide answers with minor flaws, as is common with AI systems. We encourage users to verify important information, following standard best practices when using any AI tool. 

Our goal is to keep refining these tools based on your feedback, ensuring they meet your needs in the best possible way. Feel free to evaluate the assistants' responses — your reactions will help our AI tools become even better.

Looking ahead

We keep a close eye on the rapid advancements in AI and how they shape the world around us. We believe that utilizing the power of artificial intelligence in our processes is a critical step in driving innovation. Our future plans include the introduction of more AI-driven tools to the Wialon ecosystem, which are currently in active development.
