Wialon recap 2025: Highlights of the year

Wialon Recap 2025

For Wialon, 2025 was marked by significant achievements that advanced our products and our community.

Revisiting those memories feels like tracing a string of lights across the year. Each moment shines on its own, yet together they illuminate the full story of 2025. Come take a look — one highlight at a time.

A small hint before we dive in: the section titles spell something familiar. Read to the end to see if you guessed it right.

What we built this year: Product updates

In 2025, we shared some of our biggest product news in years — the kind that expands what’s possible for telematics service providers.

✴ A new era begins: Wialon Platform arrives
A major milestone. A fully new product in the Wialon suite that allows service providers to quickly build their own fleet management solutions, shaping interfaces and feature sets without relying on development teams.

We can’t quite imagine this news slipping anyone’s radar, but just in case — here’s the detailed overview from the September presentation. And since we’re constantly enhancing and refining Wialon Platform — with partner feedback shaping the journey — you can already see the latest updates.

Powerful feature rollouts for Wialon Hosting
Throughout the year, Wialon continued to evolve in strategic, targeted ways, offering improved video storage options, clearer reporting logic, more precise data filtering, new integration possibilities, and much more. Taken together, these updates raised the baseline of how comfortable it is to work in the system every day.

Wialon Local 2504 is here
The latest on-premises version was released in April and brings proven Wialon Hosting features: task management, hardware health checks, EV battery control, expanded reporting, and more. It’s a practical update that gives Local projects more capabilities.

Reliability that keeps everything running

And while we shipped a lot of big product news this year, we also kept a close eye on something less flashy but just as important — stability. In 2025, Wialon Hosting stayed solid throughout the year with an average uptime of about 99.98% in 2025.

It’s not the kind of update that steals headlines, but it is the thing that keeps everyone’s work smooth and predictable: fewer interruptions, fewer support surprises, and a platform partners can simply rely on while they build and run their solutions. And when reliability meets versatility, you get what Wialon has long been known for: a true Swiss Army knife for fleet management, ready for any challenge.

In motion around the world: Expos, conferences, webinars

In 2025, we kept moving — our own global conference, 6 tech expos, 3 community reunions, plus dozens of industry events that made the year even busier. We crossed continents, met with our community, and gained firsthand insights into telematics trends.

Telematics & Connected Mobility conference
This year, Vilnius hosted our most ambitious conference yet — the unique industry event where business strategy meets real technical expertise. Two days. Two content tracks. Dozens of expert speakers. A buzzing tech expo with 18 exhibitors. And judging by the feedback from guests who flew in from all over the world, the mix of a standout program and Lithuania’s September charm was absolutely worth the trip.

Speakers, photos, insights — the recap has it all.

— What struck me most about the conference was how grounded the sessions were — not abstract visions, but real case studies, practical lessons, and concrete plans for integrating AI, smart sensors, and data-driven fleet management.

For me, the biggest value was direct access to the people who are doing it now. I met hardware vendors, Wialon partners, solution architects, and engineers I wouldn’t normally cross paths with — and those conversations gave me fresh insight into where the industry is heading and how I can shape my own work.

Our annual stop in Dubai
Dubai, GITEX, Wialon — you already know the combo. For over 10 years, the UAE’s iconic large-scale tech exhibition has been on our calendar. And 2025 continued the streak: 100+ partners attended the community reunion, and the Wialon fleet management hub with 12 co-exhibitors stayed busy throughout the expo.

See how our trip to Dubai unfolded.

2025 LATAM tour
Our Latin America journey had three powerful stops — major regional events for security and fleets. São Paulo kicked things off with Exposec. Mexico City followed with Expo Seguridad. And finally, Bogotá: ESS+ became the stage for our fleet management hub debut in Colombia.

Achievements & recognition

2025 brought more confirmations of Wialon’s strong market presence and of how far our community has advanced fleet digitalization globally.

Recognized among the top telematics solutions worldwide
ABI Research once again named Gurtam — the company behind Wialon — among the top 10 commercial telematics vendors worldwide.

Named #1 in Latin America
Berg Insight’s research ranks Wialon at the top of Latin America’s fleet management market, based on the number of connected vehicles.

5 million vehicles connected to Gurtam products
It’s a milestone for the entire Gurtam product family: more than 5 million commercial units now connected to the company’s products — Wialon included. And while the number is impressive on its own, it becomes even more meaningful when you look at the real projects behind it.

Speaking of real projects, our case study library grew a lot this year, with fresh stories showing real-world improvements — from better cargo operations in South Africa to modernized public transport in Turkey. Among the many new implementations are several Project of the Year winners: make sure you don’t miss them.

Leading with our community

This year, we had many reasons to shine the spotlight on our partner network and the stories they continue to create.

Wialon Top Partners 2025
With a 2,700+ strong community, standing out is no small thing — and the partners who keep raising the bar deserve all the recognition. The Wialon Top 10 once again highlighted the companies driving the strongest growth in each of the 7 global operating regions: Africa, Asia-Pacific, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America.

Into the desert: Wialon Challenge Dakar
One of the most audacious announcements for our community: we promised a week-long adventure alongside the legendary Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia in January 2026. The team is now set — 4 Wialon representatives and 12 partners, including 3 contest winners who earned their spots through months of challenges. After that, the desert feels almost easy.

Meet our brave crew.

— I’m going into the Dakar challenge expecting nothing and everything at once. Nothing because I want to arrive with an open mind, ready for any situation. And everything because I’m counting on having fun, meeting amazing people from around the world, and bonding with the Wialon community.

As for preparations, I’m focusing on physical fitness — walking, working out — and on the mental side: planning my absence well at home and at work so I can be completely present during the challenge.

Next steps together

We covered a lot — yet much of 2025 also lived in the everyday rhythm: testing features in real fleets, gathering feedback from partners, refining documentation, answering back-to-back questions during presentations, and preparing marketing materials for the next expo.

And yes, the section titles in this article do spell “Wialon.” A small detail, but a fitting one: throughout the year, Wialon quietly connected every milestone — our team, our partners, and everyone who relies on our technology to keep fleets moving.

Kual
Aliaksandr Kuushynau
Head of Wialon

— Thank you to everyone who shaped 2025 with us. We challenged ourselves, raised the bar for the industry, and introduced Wialon Platform to the world. We met hundreds of partners across global expos and at our conference in Vilnius, and together we kept building what’s next for fleet digitalization.

In 2026, Wialon Platform will take center stage, opening new opportunities and pushing us further. But before we step into the new year, I hope you find time to rest, enjoy the season, and appreciate the people who made this year meaningful for you.

And save some energy: 2026 starts strong. The Wialon Challenge Dakar team enters the desert in January, and we’re bringing that momentum with us into the entire year. Stay tuned — more is on the way.

The next chapter is already in motion: take a look at our 2026 event calendar. If you’d like to co-exhibit with us or explore fresh partnership opportunities, you’re welcome to leave a request at expo.wialon.com.
